Dear Clothing Arts,
I just recently returned from a trip to Spain and had two attempts to relieve me of my wallet or other possessions. The first was in Segovia, where I had just taken some Euros from the ATM. I must have been followed, because while I was standing on the outskirts of a small crowd ten minutes later, I felt the bump and then felt the hand near my back pocket. There was no reason for this woman pushing a stroller and with a young child next to her to be that close to me, since there was plenty of room to not bump me. As I turned to see who and what, they were in a hurry to leave without a word of apology.
The second attempt was in Granada at the Palace - two women must have been working together. They looked like tourists, too. My girlfriend actually got a picture of one of them just before they made their move. She saw it happening but was too far away to warn me. Thankfully, I didn't need the warning. I felt the bump and the grab attempt, but they were unsuccessful. They also scurried away quickly, most likely looking for their next victim.
I didn't go anywhere without wearing either a pair of pick pocket proof pants or shorts the whole time while in Spain. I was confident that I was not going to be a victim. Great product. I am buying her a pair so I don't have to carry everything in my pockets.
