I add my positive comments to the already myriad of ones posted to this site about the Cubed Travel Jacket. My purchase was motivated by the need to have an all purpose jacket that provides safety against pick pockets, water resistant, and still longing elegant. I found it. My test trial will be in January to the Middle East. I often travel each day with a small bag that has my wallet, passport, money, etc. Now, it can all go into these secure pockets, and the bag remains behind. Wearing an insulated vest or heavy sweater underneath the Cubed Travel Jacket does not restrict my movement in any way. It is keeps out the wind as it says. Just today, I was caught in a rain storm, and the rain rolled off the jacket. I enjoy the velcro wrist bands which also keeps out the cold. This has been a great find. I could not be happier with my purchase as well as with my three shirts. Great product, great quality, definitely well worth the price.
Just got the jacket in, very nice, good fit I have long arms and the sleeves are long enough, 36-37" perfect. The sealings are well done and leak proof, tried it in the shower and the jacket performed great, stayed dry no leaks etc. The zippers are great, even the levers are curved to fit one's fingers while pulling up or down. Wish though that the length was a bit longer being at 6'5" a longer torso would be good but the length is good. I like the collar as it rises to above the neck like my foul weather gear jacket, the hood provides good cover too, tried in the shower also. Great jacket can't wait to get some travel miles in with it. Thanks
I don't care about pick-pockets--but man, I love zippers and cool hidden compartments on clothing. I never have to worry about losing my iPhone in an Uber again and can easily sneak in food (if I so choose) to theaters, though Grauman's Chinese (TCL) has such a great selection anyway. I've purchased the travel pants, shorts, and am waiting for my convertible pants. I'm even getting them in a size up and down for when I gain weight. I have the travel shirts too but haven't worn them yet as I want to put on some film artwork from the Marx Brothers movies first. My only complaint and desire is that Clothing Arts hasn't (yet) created shorts that can be used as swim-trunks and of course travel/tactical underwear--as how cool to have a zipper or two on your underwear--not some place many pickpockers (or anyone else for that matter would check ;) Love the outfit colors--the Jason Bourne "blending" in colors of blacks and grays. Love all of these clothes--such great quality. And the cube symbol stitched in the pants and shorts are distinctive, yet subtle and fun--I don't like advertising brand names, so bravo--happy frequent flyer (customer) here :)
I’m enjoying the Cubed Travel Jacket and Pick-Pocket Proof Pants I ordered more than a year ago. I’ve worn the jacket on various trips around the country and on a river cruise on the Rhine last December to see the Christmas markets. Although the weather was between 25 and 30 degrees, the jacket was warm with a liner, and sometimes a sweater. It absolutely stopped the cold wind which was freezing many of the people on the trip. I’m now on a ship in the Pacific between Puerto Montt and San Antonio, Chile, on a cruise around South America from Buenos Aires (Nov 7) to Lima, Peru (Dec 7). We’ve visited Iguazu Falls with temperature in the 80’s, the Falkland Islands with temperatures in the 40’s and wicked wind, and through the Strait of Magellan into the Chilean Fjords with temperatures in the 30’s and absolutely freezing wind and rain bringing the temps way below freezing. We still have a couple weeks to go with the trip ending with a visit to Machu Picchu. Through it all, the jacket was great. It’s really nice when we go ashore in the cold morning and the weather warms to the 60’s. I just take off the liner or sweater and the jacket is perfect. The pants are also perfect for the trip – comfortable, versatile, easy to wash and wear, and, of course, pick-pocket proof. With a sports jacket, it’s dressy enough for dinner on the ship. I feel like wearing a sign saying, “Try to pick my pocket, please!”
I purchased the Cube Jacket before leaving to visit four European countries recently. I am a professional landscape photographer and was up in the highlands of Scotland photographing castles and other scenic areas. i was dry throughout the day and it rained for two days straight which is common in this part of Scotland. I am impressed with the fit and detail of craftsmanship that is not on competing brands at the same price point. Will be wearing it through all four seasons. I wore a sweater under the jacket and had plenty of room and did not have the sag feeling on the arms as other brands do. May order a second one. Thank you.
