I've been wearing Clothing Arts convertibles for approximately 5 years now. I always wear them when we travel to Asia, and although I have never experienced a pick pocket attempt, you could not ask for a more secure way to carry everything needed for a trip. I wear my Clothing Arts convertibles just about every time I leave the house to go anywhere when not traveling. There is a feeling of security that only these convertibles provide. The zippers are the best of any I have ever had and overall, these are the most comfortable pants that I own. The only downside is that it takes me awhile to get some items out of some of the more secure pockets, however, in the end, that is a plus.

I LOVE their pants and shorts. While it’s important to always be aware of your surroundings, not having to constantly be feeling for your wallet, passport, phone and worrying about passing person or bump in a crowd is awesome.

Hi Roger... Glad you're a fan of the pants! The most valuable aspect of the design is that the pocket acts as a deterrent. The pick-pockets will notice you have a more difficult pocket design and pass you by to find someone else that has no built-in security. I love the Convertible Travel Pants! They fit perfectly. They're super comfortable--and they're so secure--like wearing Fort Knox! The design is superb--as is the craftsmanship. Exceptional quality all the way. They're not just my go-to travel pants, now they're my everyday pants!

Better than expected fabric feels more like cotton but wears, stays unwrinkled and dries like nylon. Easy to organize in the pockets for a day out without a pack, yet have what you need without feeling heavy. Used and felt very secure with these pants/shorts for about two weeks straight (Buenos Ares, Argentina, Patagonia, Falklands, Antarctica-mid layer) without a wash, then washed well in a sink. Got some bleach splashed by a careless shopkeeper and just had a little discoloration. These pants are gear, that wear like relatively stylish comfortable clothes. PLEASE make them in a 36 inseam and make your shirts and jackets in extra long for us tall people (I am 6'8'' and the 34 inseam was still okay). Well done.
